Children's art classes
'Every child is an artist' - Picasso
We offer structured lessons designed to take your child on an artistic journey. lessons are age specific, children are encouraged to build their confidence in using lots of different materials, giving our budding artists weekly opportunities to try new things and create their very own masterpieces.
I run Saturday art classes, Friday art club and Holiday art sessions.1-2-1 sessions are also available.
JO WELLS - A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME!
First and foremost, I LOVE art and anything arty or creative. I have a BA (Hons) Fine Art and I am a part time qualified art teacher at a large secondary school in Poole, I have 26 years of art teaching experience. I am also a team leader for an exam board where I work in various schools in the South of England marking GCSE Art and Design work. I am an outstanding teacher who, first and foremost is passionate about Art and teaching Art! I work extremely hard to help cultivate the inner artist in all of the students and guests who come into the Art Classes at Jo Wells Art Studio. I offer workshops and classes in order to inspire and enhance everyone’s creative spark and spirit. Make sure you don’t miss out on any of the fun by joining one of my classes today.

adult Beginner painting classes
i offer various classes all suitable for beginners. In an evening you will learn how to paint a canvas using acrylic paints. I will show you 'step by step' how to... All you will need is lots of enthusiasm and a willingness to have a go!
